Marching Knights
The Currituck County Marching Knights are our largest and most visible performing ensemble, open to all students. Comprised of Winds, Percussion, and Color Guard, the group offers a place for every member to contribute. Events for the season begin as early as April with clinics, auditions, and spring training, followed by an intensive start in mid-July. The marching season runs through November and includes football games, local parades, community events, and competitive performances at local and regional competitions.

As a co-curricular activity, Marching Band combines in-school rehearsals with after-school practices, and all performances are graded. Band fees are paid by each member to help support travel and program costs. For many students, it is their first high school ensemble experience—building musicianship, discipline, and enduring friendships. Members learn teamwork, responsibility, dedication, and community pride while pushing themselves as both musicians and performers.
