The Currituck County High School Concert Band is an instrumental ensemble open to all students in grades 9–12, with no audition required. Offered in both the fall and spring semesters, the ensemble focuses on developing strong individual performance skills, ensemble musicianship, and a solid foundation in music fundamentals, with an emphasis on traditional concert band repertoire. Students also strengthen their understanding of basic music theory and may have opportunities to explore a secondary instrument.

Concert Band members are held to high standards of musicianship and personal responsibility, and all students are encouraged to continually grow as performers. The ensemble performs in one or two concerts each semester, participates in assessments during the spring, and may combine with the Wind Ensemble for special performances.
