Currituck County High School Bands

The CCHS Color Guard is an ensemble that utilizes dance, flags, and props to portray the marching show's story.  Members of this ensemble are selected by audition only; however, no previous experience is required.

The CCHS Color Guard often places 1st and 2nd at regional competitions.  

Audition Requirements

1. Audition Dates are to be determined for the 2020-2021 season. Color Guard hopefuls are required to attend both dates to be considered for placement.

2. Students will be asked to learn intermediate flag routines, a basic dance routine, and basic marching skills.  We are assessing your ability to learn! 

3. Have 3 Teacher Recommendation forms filled out and turned in no later than DATE TBA. 

4. All Color Guard Members who are CCHS students must be enrolled in the Marching Band class in the Fall Semester.
